Medivision, doctor students of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised its first State-level conclave at the Odesa Bhawan here on Sunday.
AIIMS Director Dr Ashok Kumar Mahapatra inaugurated the programme. ABVP national vice-president Prashant Rout explained the role of the ABVP in the inaugural session while State vice-president Dr Jyotrimaya Nayak spoke on the objective of Medivision.
Hundreds of students from all the Government and private medical colleges and universities attended and discussed about the guidelines of health education and protection of the doctors. later, a few proposals were approved at the meeting. Gynecology doctor Dr Basant Pati and Ayush Hospital Director Dr Ashok Kumar Acharya participated in the programme and gave their opinions on the National Health Education guidelines.
Medivision State coordinator Dr Nilamadhab Prusty coordinated the event while ABVP State secretary Abhilash Panda gave vote of thanks.
