Addressing a meeting of his Council of Ministers here on Sunday, Chief Minister Naveen suggested his Ministerial colleagues to adhere to three Ts: teamwork, transparency and technology.
Patnaik said, “I want every department to fine-tune their functioning with these three Ts in mind. While I thank the entire team for our achievements in last three years (of the BJD Government’s fourth term), I am seriously concerned about the last mile delivery and in some cases harassment faced by people. This has to improve.”
Patnaik further said, “I have listed some of the major achievements in the last three years. I am giving a schedule for the departments to inform the people through media briefings about their achievements in detail.”
“let us remember that it is our job to empower people to aspire high with the faith that their aspirations will be turned into reality. It is this faith that the people of Odisha have on my Government which makes them bless us continuously,” he said.
He further advised his Cabinet colleagues to ensure that the benefits of the Government’s achievements reach people at the grassroots level.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh said that for 10 days from Monday, Ministers and Secretaries of different departments would hold Press conferences to brief the media about their respective departments’ success stories.
