The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists celebrated the stunning victory of the party in Delhi Assembly polls by dancing and distributing sweets outside the party office here in Nayapalli area on Tuesday. Holding brooms (election symbol of the party) in hands, a cheering crowd of AAP members, volunteers, local residents, hijras (eunuch) and its supporters from different parts of the city congratulated Arvind Kejriwal for the landslide victory.
Senior party workers Dhanda Mishra and Nishikanta Mohapatra among many supporters thanked the voters of Delhi for the victory. “Today’s result speaks about the faith that the Delhi voters have reposed in the AAP. We will intensify our drive to strengthen our organisation in the State henceforth,” said Mohapatra.
