Seeding of Aadhaar number to the bank account of beneficiary has been made mandatory to avail post-matric scholarship. All eligible ST/SC/OBC/minority students studying at Post Matriculation or Post Secondary stages have to update their bank accounts for post matric scholarship by seeding their Aadhaar number at student or institute level. They have to complete the process before February 5.
In case of any problem faced by the students regarding Aadhaar updation, the ST / SC Development Department has issued some instructions for the students. Those who have got their Aadhaar number, they should immediately update seeding their Aadhar number by logging in to their used ID. Those who have applied but not got the Aadhar number can download it on the basis of their Enrolment ID by going through the link http://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ OR, they can contact to toll free number 1800-300-1947 and update the same after receipt of the Aadhar number. Those students whose Aadhar Card has been rejected or temporarily suspended have to re-enrol and re-apply in the nearby Enrolment Centre.
The students who have applied but not got Enrolment ID can go to the permanent Enrolment Centre at their nearby Tehsil office or ask for their enrolment ID or, they can re-apply/re-enrol in the centre. Those who have not yet enrolled/applied Aadhar card, they can go to the permanent Enrolment Centre at their nearest Tehsil and apply for Aadhar Card by January 30.
