As six tehsil office and four Sub-Collectorate staff have been detected Corona-positive on Thursday and admitted in Covid hospitals of DRIEMS in Tangi and GIMSAR of Madhapur, the offices have remained temporarily closed for sanitisation.
Tehsildar Tapan Kumar Khuntia told this paper that six of his office staff detected Corona positive had been sent to Covid hospital for treatment and the office was closed due to sanitisation purpose. Saturday and Sunday would remain closed due to weekly shutdown and Monday also his office will remain closed for precautionary measures. Similarly, the Office of the Sub-Collector runs with two or three staff after proper sanitisation. The public has been barred to enter into the office at present and advised to communicate through on-line, told Sub-Collector Ajambar Mohanty.
