A sub-division level joint public grievances and hearing meeting was held here at the office of the Sub-Collector, Brahmapur on Monday.
District Collector Dibyajyoti Parida joined the hearing. As many as 97 grievance petitions were received in the meeting. Out of these, 88 cases were personal, while seven were community-based related to village problems. In two cases beneficiaries were provided with financial assistance of Rs 5,000 each from the District Redcross Fund. The officers concerned were directed to implement and comply with the action taken reports at the earliest.
The public hearing programme was attended by Brahmapur SP Dr Saravana Vibek M, Chief Development Officer (CDO) V Kirthi Vassan, BeMC Commissioner J Sonal, Assistant Collector Ashutosh Kulkarini and other district level officers.
