The State Government has set a target to allocate 96,100 houses under the Biju Pucca Ghar Scheme during the 2015-16 fiscal. Panchayati Raj Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo said this in the Assembly on Tuesday in a written reply to question of Amar Prasad Satpathy (BJD). He said a total of 45,606 houses were sanctioned under the scheme during the current year (2014-15). The Minister said the number of families staying in Kaccha houses has not been assessed yet. Publication of panchayat-wise lists of the Scocio Economic Caste Census-2011 is on in the Stte. The number of families staying in kachha ghar would be know only after finalization of the list, the Minister said .
