As part of the 3rd phase of the High School transformation programme under 5T initiative, as many as 94 Government and aided high schools of Jagatsinghpur district have been included.
5T Secretary VK Pandian launched the programme through video conferencing on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion Secretary Pandian said that the transformation of the school is changing the mental state of the children and boosting their self-confidence.
Official sources informed that in first phase 24 schools of the district had been included in the renovation programme in Jagatsinghpur district. About 78 schools had been transformed in the second phase.
Collector Parual Patwari informed that about 102 schools have been transformed across the district under the 5T framework. She urged BDOs, headmasters, PRI representatives, alumni and school management bodies to cooperate for effective implementation of the scheme.
