The Covid-19 positive cases dipped further in Bhubaneswar with 93 cases detected on Thursday. With this, the city’s positive rally rose to 28, 295, which included 1,722 active cases.
The new cases included 72 local contacts and 21 quarantine cases, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
Meanwhile, two more persons succumbed to the disease in the city, increasing the death toll to 162.However, 254 more persons recovered on the day, taking the total recoveries to 27,080.
In Cuttack city, 57 more positive cases were registered on the day, pushing the tally to 14,738, which included 828 active cases.
The new cases included 26 local contacts and 19 institutional and 12 home quarantine cases. As many as 57 more persons recovered on the day taking the city’s total recoveries to 13,843.
