The State on Wednesday reported 920 Covid-19 positive cases in 28 districts and the State pool, with which the total tally increased to 13,15,603.
Among the freshly-infected were 166 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had reported 741 Covid cases on Tuesday.
Out of new cases, 538 were from quarantine and 382 local contacts.
Sundargarh district reported the maximum 250 new cases followed by Khordha with 133, Sambalpur at 68, Bargarh 54, Mayurbhanj 48, Balangir 37, Cuttack 36, Koraput 29, Subarnapur 28, Kandhamal 20, Nayagarh 23, Baleswar 17, Rayagada 15, Puri, Boudh, Ganjam and Nabarangpur 12 each, Kendrapada and Nuapada nine each, Jagatsinghpur eight, Deogarh seven and Gajapati six, Bhadrak four and Angul and Dhenkanal one each.
Besides, 30 cases were reported from the State pool.
The active cases numbered 6,385.
So far, 13,00,023 patients have recovered from the disease in the State.
