Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Panda on Tuesday flagged off the Commissionerate Police’s 91 more Pink Autos meant for women commuters in the city.
With the new ones, number of Pink Autos reached at 441 in the city. Passengers could get Pink Auto service at 10 points in the city, said twin City Commissioner of Police Dr RP Sharma.
After the ceremony, official sources said the Commissionerate Police have given a proposal to connect Pink Auto service with tourism industry as a result of which tourists could get safe service.
