Eight persons, including one seriously, were injured after a collision occurred among a passenger bus, a truck and a motorbike near the Batamangala Temple along Bhubaneswar-Puri NH 203 on Tuesday afternoon. The injured included two tourists from West Bengal and a woman. They were admitted in the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
According to the police, a bus coming from Bhubaneswar was hit by a speeding truck. A motorbike coming behind the truck hit the truck and the biker was injured. locals and the police rescued the injured from the vehicles and rushed them to the DHH. The driver of the truck was referred to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated.
