tate capital city Bhubaneswar on Friday recorded 753 more Covid-19 positive cases, with which its total tally increased to 79,327.Out of the new cases 622 were local contacts and 131 were quarantine cases.
The local contacts included 28 cases from Chandrasekharpur, 22 from Jharpada, 19 from Badagada, 16 from Dumduma, 13 from Baramunda, 12 each from Acharya Vihar and Bomikhal, 11 from BJB Nagar, 10 from IRC Village and nine from Kalpana.
Currently, the active cases in the city stood at 10,101. Meanwhile, three more persons succumbed to the disease in the city on the day, pushing the total death toll to 348. However, 1,275 more persons recovered on the day, increasing the total recoveries to 68,827 in the city.
