A voluntary blood donation camp was organised by Paradip based NGO, "Jana Samasya Nivaran Sansthan." A total of 72 units of blood were collected on the occasion.
The camp was organised at the premises of Shri Satya Sai Seva Samiti in Nuabazar, with the help of the Smile Charitable Trust and Consumer Confederation of India, the Community Health Action Team, Jagatsinghpur and the Satya Sai Seva Samiti, Paradip.
Satya Sai Seva Samiti State coordinator Antaryami Pattnaik presided. Paradip Nagar BJD president and former Municipality Chairman Basant Kumar Bishwal joined as the chief guest.
Honourable guests were Banshidhar Acharya, Suresh Chandra Das, Snehammayee Acharya, Sabita Mohapatra, Damodar Swain, IFFCO senior officer Abhay Kumar Malla, IFFCO Employees Union president Shuvendu Majhi, Kishore Satapathi.Many social activists, journalists and women were felicitated. The camp was coordinated by Ramakant Jena.
