A 70-year-old woman reportedly died at a temporary medical centre (TMC) at Raghunathpali in Jharsuguda district late on Sunday night.
The woman along with her 26 relatives were staying in the quarantine centre after one of her family members tested positive for Covid on July 12 following his return from Bhubaneswar on July 12.
The woman died around 11 pm before she could be shifted to a hospital. She was cremated on Monday morning in the presence of police and district administration officials. The reason behind her death was yet to be ascertained. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
