The sixth Royal Stag Odia Filmfare Award-2015 was held at the Baliyatra
Ground in Cuttack with Collector NC Mishra and DG (Home Guard and Fire Services) Binay Behera inaugurating it on Saturday.
Filmfare chairman Ullhas Chandra Behura and chief advisor Bapu lenka organised the event. Bollywood comedy star Rajpal Yadav was the star attraction of the show.
The Filmfare Award for the year of 2015 was given in 34 categories, including best actor, actress, director, singer, writer and producer.
Prashant Nanda, Mihir Das, Babusan, Sonika, Jhilik, Sabyasachi Mishra, Archita Sidhanta Mohapatra, Papu Pom Pom, Aparajita,
Basanta Sahu, Susant Mani, Akhya Parija, Arun Mantri, Bijay Malla, Sitansu Mohapatra, Sukumar
Mani and Ashok Palit, among others, were awarded for their contributions to the Odia film industry in their respective fields.
