The Mani Sahu Smruti Parishad observed the 69th death anniversary of well-known social activist Mani Sahu here at the Sarala Bhawan on Thursday.
Madhusudan Sahu gave welcome address and Baba Balia addressed the gathering. Dayanand Kashyap of Ranchi also spoke, among others.
late Mani Sahu started charity by building schools and temples. At his residence, he established a school called ‘Chatsali’. He donated money and land to start a school at Tirtol. He also helped in many freedom fighters’ release from jail. A Bhajan Samaroh was presented by noted singer Subas Das on the occasion. Puri Gobardhan Peeth national relationship secretary Pandit Matru Prasad Mishra also remembered Mani Sahu and shared many memories related to late Sahu.
