The State reported a decrease in the daily Covid-19 cases on Monday with 652 persons infected in 29 districts and the State pool. With this, the total tally rose to 13,19,527.
Among the newly-infected were 132 children in the age group of 0 to18 years,
Notably, the State had reported 730 Covid cases on Sunday.
Of the new cases, 381 were from quarantine and 271 local contacts.
Sundargarh district reported the day’s highest 137 cases, followed by Khordha 70, Sambalpur 58, Balangir 47, Bargarh 46, Mayurbhanj 43, Kalahandi 36, Nabarangpur 34, Subarnapur 21, Nayagarh 18, Nuapada 16, Rayagada 15, Cuttack 14, Kandhamal 13 and Koraput 11.
The districts which recorded 10 cases were Jharsuguda nine, Jajpur eight, Deogarh and Puri seven each, Baleswar and Gajapati six each, Boudh and, Dhenkanal three each, Angul, Kendrapada and Malkangiri two each, BhadrakGanjam and Keonjhar one each.
Besides, 15 cases were reported from the State pool.
The active cases numbered 5,798.
So far, 13,04,527 patients have recovered in the State.
