As many as eight Hindu families of a village under lahunipada block in Sundargarh district were allegedly converted to Christianity on Christmas.
Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) lodged a complaint at the K Balang police station on Thursday in this connection, alleging that the innocent tribal Hindu people were lured in different ways and converted to Christianity. We will take appropriate action against the culprits,” said IIC Pradhan.
