The BJP on Thursday announced its candidates for six of 21 lok Sabha seats in the State. The announcement was made in New Delhi, party sources said here.
According to the list, while Juel Oram will contest from the Sundargarh (ST) lok Sabha seat, Suresh Pujari would be candidate for Sambalpur seat. Similarly, Sangita Singh Deo for Balangir, Parshuram Majhi for Nabrangpur (ST), Rudranarayan Pani for Dhenkanal and Baidhar Mallick for Jagatsinghpur (SC) have been named. Party sources said the BJP Central Election Committee is in the process of scrutinising candidates for the remaining seats and the names would be announced soon.
