The Brahmapur Bada Bazaar police seized six bags of fake gutkha packaged in different brand names and gutkha-making machines while conducting raids on a godown at Venkateswar Mandir Sahi. A total of six bags containing Gokul Delux, 909 and Safari zarda, 280 kg masala packets, six-masala making machines and fake ABT tea packets seized from the go-down, said police. The police then conducted on the house of the owner of the go-down at Bhuta Sahi and found that fake ghee was being manufactured there. A total of 70 packets of fake Maa Durga Ghee were seized from his house. The police have arrested accused E Koteswar Rao and is now searching for another accused, said IIC Suresh Tripathy.
