State capital city Bhubaneswar on Sunday registered 57 new Covid-19 positive cases, mounting its total positive tally to 29,704, including 832 active cases.The new cases included 44 local contacts and 13 quarantine cases.
The local contacts included four cases from Badagada, three each from Laxmisagar, Patia and Jharpada and two cases from Jayadev Vihar. Meanwhile, two more persons succumbed to the virus in the city on the day.
