A total of 5,483 candidates appeared for the Odisha Teacher’s Eligibility Test (OTET) held in 12 examination centres in Ganjam district on Sunday. The examination passed-off peacefully. While the Education Officer of the Brahmapur Municipal Zone coordinated the examination held under the BMC jurisdiction, the Block Education Officers were managing the examinations conducted under their respective blocks.
The test was conducted in two sittings. While the first sitting exam was held in seven centres, the second sitting exam was conducted in five centes. A total of 250 candidates found absent at the two sittings. Adequate security personnel were deployed in all these centers for smooth conduct of the examination, said DEO Sanatan Panda.
