But in such a horrific incident, the branding of a child was reported from this Smart City’s outskirts on Wednesday. Sources said a man branded his five-year-old son with hot iron at Dhauli as the child was not studying.
The boy was admitted to the Capital Hospital here. Doctors found several burn injuries on his body. later, the mother of the child filed a complaint at the Dhauli police station.
The police acting on the complaint detained the accused for questioning. Sources said the police might arrest and forward him to court if he is found guilty. The incident has sent shockwaves among city residents.
