The State Government has ordered all colleges for a five-per cent seat reservation for Divyang students to provide them higher education.
The directive has been issued by the Higher Education Department to all the autonomous, degree and Plus Two junior colleges asking them to strictly follow the system to ensure that the Divyang (differently-abled) students would not be deprived for higher studies.
Notably, the second phase of admission into the Plus Three courses commenced from Friday. The department has asked for implementation of the order during admission into the degree courses in the colleges.
