A team of government officials including CDMO Dr KK Gupta, Magistrate Rashmita Nath and police officials on Tuesday sealed five pathology laboratories close to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here. The laboratories were run by reputed doctors of the city which didn’t obey the stipulated norms and provide minimum facility to the patients.
One the doctor alleged that there are pathology laboratories in the city and close the DHH which are being operated by inexperienced technicians and pathologists.
“But the Health Department, very surprisingly, are closing the laboratories run by senior and experienced doctors,” he further alleged.
