Five Odia labourers were injured, one of them critically, among other 43 workers in the explosion that took place at the cooling tower complex of the Hindustan Petrochemicals Corporation ltd (HPCl) in Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh on Friday evening.
The critically injured Odia labourer, identified as Subash Majhi, is undergoing treatment in Vizag. He has sustained 80 per cent burn injuries. The conditions of the other four are stable, sources said.
