The State Government on Saturday effected a minor administrative reshuffle after giving its nod to five IAS officers to apply for Central deputation. The officers who are allowed to apply for deputation are NK Sundaray, Parag Gupta, Arabind Padhee, Usha Padhee and S Aswathy. Chief minister Naveen Patnaik approved the applications of the officers.
As per the reshuffle, 2001-batch IAS officer Bishnu Prasad Sahoo was posted as Director of Technical Education and Training while 2003-batch officer Manorajan Patnaik was appointed as Additional IG of Prisons. Anil Kumar Samal was appointed as Director of Tourism. He is also holding the post of Managing Director of Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC). Bishnu Prasad Prusty was posted as Managing Director of Markfed.
