An enforcement team comprising BDA, BMC, GA and police officials on Friday demolished many illegal structures and freed five acres of land from encroachment in Patia on Friday.
Three AC shed houses and three bamboo shed houses were demolished. However, one Brajabandhu Rout along with others produced an order of Statuesque from High Court so the eviction drive was stopped midway. Additional Commissioner Bhabani Shankar Chayani, BDA Enforcement Officer-II, Pramod Patro, liaison Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty and land Officer Debasis Singh were present.
