The State on Sunday recorded 488 new Covid-19 positive cases in 29 districts and the State pool, increasing the total tally to 13,22,671.
Among the newly-infected were 114 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had reported 403 Covid cases on Saturday.
Out of the new cases, 286 were from quarantine and 202 local contacts.
Sundargarh district reported the highest 105 new cases followed by Khordha with 66, Boudh 40, Kalahandi 31, Bargarh 22, Mayurbhanj 21, Balangir and Nabarangpur 20 each, Rayagada 14, Jharsugda 12 and Cuttack 11.
The districts which recorded below 10 cases were Subarenapur and Nayagarh nine each, Baleswar eight, Kendrapada, Nuapada and Puri seven each, Koraput six, Gajapati and Jajpur five each, Angul and Bhadrak four each, Deogarh and Dhenkanal three each, Jagatsinghpur and Ganjam two each and Malkangiri one.
Besides, 14 were reported from the State pool.
The active cases numbered 3,786.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old woman succumbed to the disease in Rayagada district, taking the total death toll to 9,153.
