More than 45,000 students appeared the JEE Main 2017 test, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in the State on Sunday.
The entrance was held in two sittings. The paper-I started at 9.30 am and the second sitting started at 2 pm for paper-II.
The examination was held at 82 centres in the State including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore, Sambalpur, Rourkela and Berhampur amid tight security.
The candidates after qualifying the test will be eligible for admission into engineering courses at the top institutes like IIT, NIT, IIIT and Government and private engineering colleges.
