: Bhubaneswar on Wednesday registered 417 new Covid-19 positive cases. This was a substantial increase from the 339 cases reported on Tuesday. Now, the total tally in the city increased to 90,222. Out of the new cases, 287 were local contacts and 130 were quarantine cases. The local contacts included 20 cases in Patia, 15 each in Khandagiri and Patrapada, 11 in IRC Village, 10 in Mancheswar, nine each in Unit-6 and Nayapalli and eight each in Baramunda and Rasulgarh.Currently, the active cases stood at 1,347 in the city. Meanwhile, five more patients succumbed to the disease in the city in last 24 hours, with which the total death toll mounted to 450.
