The Covid-19 tally in capital city Bhubaneswar crossed the 15,000-mark and reached 15,365 as the city reported 413 new cases on Friday.
Out of the 413 new cases, 112 were from quarantine centres while the rest 301 were local contact cases.
With this, the number of active cases in the city surged to 5,110.However, 429 patients recovered on the day, taking the total recoveries to 10,184. Till now, 58 people have succumbed to the disease in the city. “Further contact tracing are still continuing.
Primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised and will be under active surveillance,” the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
