locals of Ario village under Derabish block in Kendrapada district unearthed about 40 King Cobra hatchlings from a fellow villager’s house on Sunday.
On Friday last, the family members of one Nanda Kishore Bal had unearthed a King Cobra in their house and later killed the viper. On Sunday, the family members again noticed the hatchlings on the same place, where the King cobra was killed.
later, a godman was pressed into service and rescued the hatchlings after performing Puja Patha. The hatchlings were later released to a nearby Siva temple.
