The Puri district Balanga police on Monday detained four youths from Gadachandapur Melaka Sahi for forcibly entering into the house of a woman and abusing her.
Sources said six unidentified miscreants entered into the residence of one Saudamini Pradhan and abused her while asking about her son’s whereabouts.
However, hearing the commotion, locals detained four of the youths while two others managed to escape. The police rushed to the spot and rescued the youths and began investigation.
The police seized two motorbikes from the spot used by the miscreants. Sources said Saudamini’s son loved a girl of the Balanga area while the girl loved a youth of the Sakhigopal area. later, the youth planned to attack Saudamini’s son to take revenge.
