As many as four trains, including the Hirakhand Express, have been cancelled as tracks to Koraput and Rayagada have been damaged due to the incessant rains and stone-blockages on the tracks caused by the landslide on various routes at liliguma and Rauli.
Besides, the Rourkela Inter-City and the Sambalpur passenger train have stopped plying from their respective stations, whereas the Hirakhand Express is standing stationary at the Koraput Railway Station.
Trains like Rourkela Intercity-Express, Hirakhand Express and Sambalpur passenger train, which are supposed to move to their destinations from the Koraput Railway Station, have been cancelled, railway authorities informed.
