In a bid to provide comfort to the passengers, the East Coast Railway has decided to add one AC-3 tier coach to the Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express permanently with immediate effect.
With this decision, the train will run with one AC-2 tier coach, two AC-3 tier coaches, 10 sleeper class coaches, five general second class coaches, two guard-cum-luggage vans and one pantry car in it’s composition. Similarly, Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Samata Express via Rayagada and Titlagarh will also be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach permanently with immediate effect, a ECoR release informed.
The train will henceforth run with one AC-2 tier coach, two AC-3 tier coaches, nine sleeper class coaches, three general second class coaches, two guard-cum-luggage vans and one pantry car in its composition. These, Visakhapatnam-Nanded-Visakhapatnam Express and Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Express will also be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach each.
