Four MPs from Odisha have been elected uncontested as members of four committees of the lok Sabha, BJD Parliamentary Party (BJDPP) leader Bhartruhari Mahtab informed on Sunday.
While Mahtab himself was elected as a member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Baijayant Panda was elected as a member of the Public Undertakings Committee (PUC), Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo as a member of the Estimates Committee and Balabhadra Majhi as a member of the SC and ST Welfare Committee.
Mahtab said the Speaker would formally announce the names of the chairpersons of these committees later.
