4 IAS officers to go on Central deputation

The Odisha Government has given permission to four State cadre IAS officers to go on Central deputation.1996-batch IAS officer and School and Mass Education Secretary Usha Padhee would leave as Civil Aviation Joint Secretary while her husband Arvind Padhee of the same batch, now, Tourism and Culture  Secretary, would be Fertilisers Joint Secretary. Principal Secretary to Governor, Parag Gupta, a 1988-batch officer, would be the Food Processing Industries Department Joint Secretary at Centre.

Similarly, 2003 batch officer Aswathy S would join as Deputy Director, lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. Aswathy is presently posted as Social Welfare Department Director. Besides, 2002-batch officer William Bilung has been named OUAT Registrar. He is presently Science and Technology Department Additional Secretary.
