The Rajgangpur police arrested and forwarded to court four youths belonging to the minority community here on Thursday for ransacking some shops and threatening the shop owners.
Sources said that at about 5 pm on Tuesday, a group of about 200 persons of the Muslim community held demonstration at Rajgangpur over the Prophet Mohammed picture row by forcing shopkeepers to pull shutters and threatening a few of dire consequences when they did not oblige. They burnt down a newspaper shop owned by one Babula Panda of Bantupada area. Panda soon lodged an FIR in Rajgangpur police station against the protesters.
