Kandhamal district Collector Dr Brunda D on Wednesday ordered a four-day shutdown in the Phulbani Municipality and Balliguda NAC areas from 7 am of July 17 till 6 am on July 22.
During the shutdown thermal screening and other tests of locals would be carried out in Phulbani and Balliguda towns by ANMs, ASHA Workers and teachers. A team of ten officers would monitor this.
The entry of people from the niegbouring districts like Ganjam and other Covid-19 hotspots like Bhubaneswar and Cuttack has been totally prohibited.
