An overwhelming response was witnessed during the four-day Odisha Garments Trade Fair here in the city, organised by the Odisha Garments Association (OGA).
“The 14th edition of the fair got huge response and exceeded our expectations with more than 750 retailers,” said OGA president Biswa Kalyan Swain.
“The Trade Fair is Odisha’s largest and most comprehensive exhibition trade fair for the domestic apparel retail industry. It aims to offer a complete sourcing platform to apparel manufacturers,” said OGA treasurer Aswin Khattor.
“The OGA is the most representative association of the Odisha apparel industries. Its members include readymade garment manufacturers and distributors etc,” said OGA secretary Avinah Chapolia.
This is a great platform in which different textile industries get in contact with different high street retailers, agents and distributors and national chain stores, he added.
“The fair provides an opportunity to the retailers for all their sourcing requirements for the upcoming festive seasons and spring winter,” said vice president Pramod Agarwal.
