Four students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC), Central University of Orissa (CUO) Koraput got placed in Eenadu Digital, a division of the Ushodaya Enterprises Private limited, Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The placement cell of the university conducted the placement drive for the students and alumni of the department. University Vice-Chancellor Prof Sachidananda Mohanty congratulated the selected candidates and wished them all success.
He said students need to utilise the opportunity they are getting in the university and excel in the competitive world and should be a resource for the university as well. Mohanty also advised the students to carry out all the assigned work to them sincerely and dedicatedly.
The drive was conducted in association with the Eenadu Digital in which more than 25 students participated. The four students are Jami Sheela, Rojalin Mishra, Smruti Rekha Parija and Tamil Bakchi.
University Placement Officer Dr Phagunath Bhoi and Department Head In-Charge Dr Pradosh Kumar Rath were present during the drive.
