The State Government has decided to set up four commercial courts at Cuttack Sadar, Bhubaneswar, Brahmapur and Sambalpur, a notification of the Law Department said on Friday.
While the commercial court at Cuttack Sadar would cover Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal and Jajpur, one to be set up at Bubaneswar would cover entire Khurda district and the Brahmpur court would cover Ganjam, Kandhamal, Boudh and Gajapati.
The court to be established at Sambalpur would cover the districts of Sambalpur, Bargarh, Deogarh and Jharsuguda.The Government took the decision on the recommendation of the Orissa High Court.
