The third meeting of the Ganjam Zilla Parishad was held at Chhatrapur on Wednesday. Collector Vijaya Amruta Kulange chaired.
The meeting discussed myriad issues of the people and reviewed the progress of various ongoing people-friendly projects, besides evolving mechanisms to solve the various problems at ease. The meeting also discussed the ways and means of implementing various development pro-people programmes initiated by the Government.
Prominent among those who attended the meet include State Minister of Forest, Environment, Climatic Change and Parliamentary Affairs Bikram Kesari Arukha; Ganjam District Planning Board Chairman Srikanta Sahu; Brahmapur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu and MLA Bikram Kumar Panda; Surada MLA Purnna Chandra Swain; Aska MLA Manjula Swain; Chhatrapur MLA Subash Behera; Chikiti MLA Usha Devi; Khallikote MLA Suryamani Baidya; all the Zilla Parishad candidates of the district and Chairmen of all Blocks of the district.
