The BJD on Saturday slammed BJP leaders once again for targeting officers in the Third Floor of the State Secretariat (Chief Minister’s Office) while stating that they are doing so after failing to face the Chief Minister.
“The Government and the BJD are being managed by the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. There is no leader of Naveen Patnaik’s stature in Odisha. Some leaders are targeting others after failing to face the Chief Minister, which is not desirable,” said BJD State secretary Bijay Nayak in a statement.
Nayak said a phobia of The Third Floor has been haunting Dharmendra Pradhan and, hence, he seems to be talking in his sleep. By doing politics this way, the BJP can’t fulfil its dream of coming to power, he remarked.
“The people are not accepting the cheap politics of the BJP; and whenever they get an opportunity, they are discarding this party,” he said.
Nayak dared Pradhan to directly respond to questions asked by the BJD to him on Friday. “If he has guts, he should give direct answers. He should not hoodwink people by making indirect and unjustified statements. His indirect response only indicates how ‘capable’ he is!” commented Nayak.
