State capital city Bhubaneswar on Tuesday registered 389 new Covid-19 positive cases, with which its total tally incr eased to 84,836.Out of the new cases, 338 were local contacts and 51 were quarantine cases.
The local contacts included 34 cases in Patia, 30 in Old Town, 21 cases in Khandagiri, 16 in Nayapalli, 14 in Chandrasekharpur, 13 in Baramuda, 11 in Dumduma and 10 each in Sailashree Vihar and Samantarapur. Currently, the active cases stood at 3,461 in city. Meanwhile, three more patients succumbed to the disease in the city, increasing the total death toll to 384.
