State capital Bhubaneswar on Sunday registered an upward figure of 371 new Covid-19 positive cases. With this, the total tally in the city surged to 98,066.
Out of the new cases, 263 were local contacts and 108 quarantine cases.
The local contacts included 15 cases each in Nayapalli and Patia, 14 in Khandagiri, 12 in Old Town, 11 in Niladri Vihar, 10 in Samantarapur and nine in Dumduma.
The active cases stood at 1,988 in the city.
Meanwhile, 15 more patients succumbed to the disease in the city, pushing the total death toll to 751.
However, 231 persons recovered on the day, increasing the total recoveries to 95,036.
