As many as 349 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in the State capital city Bhubaneswar on Thursday. With this, the city’s total tally rose to 19,893.
Out of the new cases, 229 were local contacts and 120 were quarantine cases. However, 373 persons recovered on the day, taking the total recoveries to 16,119 in the city.
“Further contact tracing are still continuing. Primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised and would be under active surveillance,” the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC)said.
