Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday asked the Home Department to fill 327 Police Sub-Inspector (SI) and 24 Sergeant vacant posts. These positions would be filled through the State Staff Selection Commission.
It may be noted that the Government is now on a move to fill up vacancies in different departments. The Chief Minister had recently advised officials to ensure greater coordination between different departments and employment exchanges for faster filling up of vacancies.
